Meereenese Valyrian is a language created by David Peterson for the HBO series Game of Thrones. The language is derived from the High Valyrian language, which was based on material from George R. R. Martin's book series A Song of Ice and Fire. The language is an a posteriori language in the truest sense, being a daughter language of High Valyrian, with some grammatical and lexical elements held over from the yet to be created Ghiscari language.
