-ion
- Used to form type II or generic substantives (i.e. nouns), which refer to abstract or uncountable concepts, from class II and class III adjectives, participles and demonstratives.
- obūljare (“surrendering”, participle) → obūljarion (“surrender”, noun)
- Used to form nouns referring to places and locations associated with the root from which they are formed.
- Used to form nouns referring to the activity or state associated with the verbs from which they are formed.
- Used to form nouns referring to abstract concepts or qualities associated with the nouns from which they are formed.
- Used to form nouns from various roots with various meanings not covered by the above; generic noun-forming suffix.
