A bit of an oddity, this word, but I knew it was going to be an oddity when I created. I went ahead with it because I really, really liked it. Still do. It felt right that the fricative would spontaneously voice specifically for this word. Was also quite happy that I got away with losing the diphthong (see my note on a).
