- Used to form verbs with a meaning related to the roots from which they are formed.
- rāenagon (“to wipe”) → rāenābagon (“to clean”)
Derived Terms
Notes
A long version of the final vowel of the verb stem is inserted between the stem and the -bagon segment (replacing the final vowel in the case of vowel-final verbs):
- -ābagon is used after a and ā.
- -ēbagon is used after e and ē.
- -ībagon is used after i and ī.
- -ōbagon is used after o and ō.
- -ūbagon is used after u and ū.
- -ȳbagon is used after y and ȳ.
