LangTime Studio is a YouTube livestreaming series by David J. Peterson and Jessie Peterson in which they colloborate on constructing languages. The first episode streamed in 2020, and so far five complete seasons have been released, with the sixth season currently underway. In each season, a language is developed for an animal species in the setting of their original fantasy boardgame Sovála, where humans have disappeared and animals have acquired the capacity for language. The six languages developed thus far in the series are:
- Engála (rabbits, season 1)
- Tpaalha (opossums, season 2)
- Wokuthízhű (mice, season 3)
- Sarkezhe (cats, season 4)
- Haughòf (dogs, season 5)
- Nulisü (beavers, season 6)
The planned seventh season will deal with the creation of the fox language, an offshoot of Haughòf. You can find the YouTube channel by clicking here.
