Creation and Usage Notes
I have a very peculiar note in my dictionary on this word. The spelling is, letter-for-letter, kaeshe. After the definition, I have a note that says the word is ultimately from *kaeʃ. The word is never referenced elsewhere. I haven't the slightest idea why (a) this would matter, and, as a consequence, (b) why I would make the note. But I did, so I repeat it here. Maybe someone else can figure it out—I sure can't.
