Creation and Usage Notes
I'd forgotten I'd done this. This word was coined in honor of my late stepdad, Gil. He wasn't a good father—and in many ways, not a good man—but I kept up my relationship with him the rest of his life. I wasn't necessarily sad when he died, but it's not like I was counting the days either. Throughout the many phases of his life, it seemed like he was always happiest when he was at sea, and so evidently I coined the word for boat in this language in his honor. An odd memorial, given the language, but there it is.
