In Trigedasleng, verbal satellites are used in conjunction with verb roots to form full verbs. They are descended from English phrasal verbs. For the most part these verb root and satellite pairings are lexical, but there are some instances in which they are inflectional. For example, most transitive verbs that take the satellite op can be made intransitive by swapping out the satellite for raun.
