Russian is a language spoken primarily in Russia, but also many other parts of the world. Its literature features some of the most celebrated works the world has ever known. In Bright the orcs were supposed to have come into existence near to Russia (specifically the Pripet Marshes), and so David theorized that their first second language would have been Russian. Consequently, the orcish language Bodzvokhan features a lot of borrowings from the Russian language. The Aazh Naamori language from Vampire Academy also features borrowings from Russian, being set in Eastern Europe as well.
