Etymology

From an invisible proto-language
The etymology of this word comes from an invisible proto-language. If you're confident you know the etymology, feel free to add it, but reader beware should the etymology be added by someone other than the creator of the language!

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /ˈju/

Orthographic Form

yu

Preposition

yu

  1. to, toward (allative)
  2. as, like (equative)

Verb

yu (intransitive)

  1. to go, move (generic motion)
  2. to become, turn into
  3. to grow, get (inchoative sense)
  4. to start, begin (inceptive)
  5. (auxiliary) used to form the passive voice

Creation and Usage Notes

This word was actually inspired by the glyph yu. The ligature was so cool and so handy I wanted it to be a word with a lot of functionality in Veda. It enjoys a lot of use.
