Munja'kin

Etymology

From Proto-Munja'kin *erin.

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /ˈiɾin/

Verb

irin (verbal form, nominal form arindri)

  1. to be in love
  2. to love (uses an before the object)

Creation and Usage Notes

The sound changes of Munja'kin removed the vowel [e] from the modern language. Essentially, proto *e became [i] when stressed and [a] when unstressed, effectively eliminating it. Thus, proto *erin becomes modern irin.
