Veda

Etymology

From Proto-Veda *kʔjn.

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /ˈken/

Orthographic Form

ken

Noun

ken

  1. moon

Creation and Usage Notes

This word's pictograph k served as the source for the k glyph in the abjadic system. Also, I can't help but feel it isn't a coincidence that this is the word for "moon", and the Castithan word for "moon" (by way of Indojisnen [by way of Kinuk'aaz]) is dwoken.
