Veda

Etymology

From an invisible proto-language
The etymology of this word comes from an invisible proto-language. If you're confident you know the etymology, feel free to add it, but reader beware should the etymology be added by someone other than the creator of the language!

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /ˈsun/

Orthographic Form

sun

Verb

sun (transitive)

  1. to cut, slice

Creation and Usage Notes

This may have been inspired by Sun Wukong (or Monkey) from Journey to the West. It's hard to imagine it wouldn't be, but cutting isn't really integral to his character (I mean, he's a violent fellow, but he uses his as-you-will cudgel, which bludgeons rather than slices).
