Bodzvokhan

Etymology

From Sungdin *jʕwrq.

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /œʁq/

Rhymes: -œʁq

Orthographic Form

örq

Cyrillic Orthographic Form

ёрқ

Noun

örq

  1. orc
Inflection
Singular Plural
Nominative örq örqeva
Genitive örqan örqeven

Creation and Usage Notes

Since nature, rather than Tolkien, created the orcs in the world of Bright, I figured it made sense to make a word that could have given birth to the English word "orc". I thought örq worked rather nicely for that.
