So you are interested in Learning High Valyrian. Perhaps you aim to become a speaker some day or you just want to learn some phrases. Well, you have come to the right place. This wiki is a collection of all that is known publicly about the language and it is intended to work as the main platform for people interested in learning the language.
At this point in time we are still in the process of finding out all the details about the language so a lot of information is not yet available but it will get added continuously as we learn more.
This page will serve as a starting point and will have links to all the other pages that contain detailed descriptions of the grammar and vocabulary of the High Valyrian language.

Grammar
Learning a language isn't just about learning the words. It is also important to know how to use these words to make understandable sentences.
Gender
'Gender' in linguistics does not necessarily mean 'sex', and this is especially true of High Valyrian. High Valyrian has four genders.
Number
'Number' in the grammatical sense refers to singular and plural. High Valyrian has two additional grammatical numbers: collective, and paucal.

There are also two unofficial dictionaries (High Valyrian to English and vice versa) that we compile. These are still being worked on, and are not ready yet. In the meantime, a preliminary dictionary has been compiled based on the vocabulary page for High Valyrian. It can be viewed and downloaded here (external link to Google Drive). Note that this version may contain errors in formatting, and is a slightly reduced form of the wiki page.

Specific uses
All languages have their own distinct way they are used that depends on the culture of the people that are speaking the language. This creates specific uses for words that can only really be understood in the context of a specific culture.
