Usage
|1=
Term written in the standard romanization, used to output the standard pronunciation in the IPA. If left blank or not included, the page name (i.e. term) is used, which outputs the appropriate pronunciation and stress placement for native words. If the parameter is defined, that value is used instead of the page name. This is mainly used to indicate the fixed stress of certain loanwords, according to a few respelling rules. Use ́◌
(acute accent) to place the stress in a syllable whose nucleus is a short vowel. Use ̀◌
(grave accent) instead if the vowel is long—i.e. if it already has a macron. Imperative forms of verbs, and terms lengthened for coordination, must also have their stress indicated manually.
Additionally terms with hiatus and any forms or phrases derived from them that contain hiatus should have a ·
placed between the vowels in question. If the vowels are the last in the word, then the stress has to be placed manually. This may be fixed in the future.
