Template:Category/documentation

This template imitates the format of a wikilink to a category.

It is formatted as usual in MediaWiki, surrounded by {{wt|double-brackets}} and including the text "Category:".

Usage

This template may be added anywhere outside of the main (dictionary) namespace to display a category link.

Parameters

This template uses one unnamed (positional) parameter.

• |1= The category name to be shown.

Examples

• {{category|English nouns}} returns:

  [[Category:English nouns]]

• {{category|Portuguese appendices}} returns:

  [[Category:Portuguese appendices]]

• {{category|Fundamental}} returns:

  [[Category:Fundamental]]
