Phonotactics

Afata's syllables follow a (C)V(C/V) structure. Afata lost most of Veda's codas; words can only end with a nasal or s, no consonant clusters occur, and all non-final syllables must be open. Vowel sequences do not occur, and long vowels only occur in open syllables.
