Dothraki

Etymology

From Proto-Plains mǝra (inside).

Source

Coined by George R. R. Martin in the book A Game of Thrones.

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /ˈmɾa/

Preposition

mra (contracts to mr' before a word beginning with a vowel)

  1. in, inside of (with the nominative)
    Khalakka dothrae mr'anha.
A prince is riding inside me.
    -Daenerys (A Game of Thrones)
  2. into (with the allative)
  3. out of, out from (with the ablative)

Creation and Usage Notes

I'm not happy with how this turned out. I misremembered what I planned at an early stage and ended up getting stuck with a wonky prepositional system in Dothraki where major prepositions are assigning the nominative case. See anha for more info on that.
