Creation and Usage Notes

The nickname given to Genya in Shadow and Bone is razrusha'ya—"ruined". It was that word that gave me the idea for the prefix. Coming up with a lexical source for it was simple, but it proved quite fruitful. Indeed, it's what gave me the general idea for prefixal augmentation for verbs, which is one of the most distinctive features of Ravkan.
