Trigedasleng is a language created by David Peterson for the HBO series ''Game of Thrones''. The language is based on material from George R. R. Martin's book series ''A Song of Ice and Fire''. The language can be classified either as an a posteriori language created by Peterson based on material from ''A Song of Ice and Fire'' or as an a priori language created by both Peterson and Martin.
