Lua error in Module:Script_utilities at line 394: This language is written in the Latin alphabet. It does not need a native script..

Usage

This template is used to tag entries that are missing the native script of a language. It is automatically added by several templates such as {{term}}, {{l}} and so on, but you can also add it to an entry yourself. In the wikitext, it should be placed next to (or as close as possible to) the term that needs the script, not at the end of the entry or anywhere else.

Parameters

|1=
The language code (see Project:Languages). This is mandatory; if you don't know the language, use "und".
|sc=
Which specific script to request. This is strictly optional, and is only needed for languages that can be written in multiple scripts. If the language has only one script, this has no effect (unless the language is "und").
|usex=1
If specified, place the page in the category Category:Requests for SCRIPT script in LANG usage examples instead of Category:Requests for SCRIPT script for LANG terms.
|sort=
The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.
|nocat=1
Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the following category (where LANG is the language whose code is specified using |1= and SCRIPT is the script whose code is specified using |sc=):

Examples

{{rfscript|cu}}

Adds the entry to: Category:Requests for native script for Old Church Slavonic terms

{{rfscript|cu|sc=Glag}}

Adds the entry to: Category:Requests for Glagolitic script for Old Church Slavonic terms

{{rfscript|ru|sc=Cyrl}}

Adds the entry to: Category:Requests for native script for Russian terms (because Russian has only one script)

{{rfscript|cu|sc=Cyrl|usex=1}}

Adds the entry to: Category:Requests for Cyrillic script in Old Church Slavonic usage examples
