Shiväisith is a language created by David Peterson for the Marvel film Thor: The Dark World. The language accommodates a few names that were canon in the Marvel comics, but is otherwise an a priori language. Shiväisith is intended to be the language of the Dark Elves, the main antagonists of Thor: The Dark World, who otherwise have a bit of a longer backstory in the comics. In sound it was meant to evoke Finnish, in the way that Asgardian is meant to evoke Old Norse. Peterson had no involvement in the Dark Elf script the film features, which is gibberish, but he invented a non-canon script named Todjydheenil after the film's release.
