Azrán

Etymology

From Spanish astucia.

Pronunciation

IPA(key): /la˩tuʒ˥/

Noun

latúzh (class 3 nominative singular, plural zatúzh)

  1. guile, craftiness, cunning
Inflection
Singular Plural
Nominative latúzh zatúzh
Genitive ghatúzh ghazatúzh

Creation and Usage Notes

I messed this up on the episode where it's used. Somehow I forgot myself and thought that the singular forms would cause the vowel to lengthen, resulting in laatúzh. That's the version that appeared in the script. But it is wrong. Terribly wrong. And I feel bad about it.
